Endocannabinoids

Definition of Endocannabinoids:

Endocannabinoids are cannabinoids that are produced naturally within an animal (human) body and are one part of the endocannabinoid system. They are lipids that act as binding agents for the body’s cannabinoid receptors and are effectively neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors and proteins that exist within the central and peripheral nervous systems.
